Christopher Holverson has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Christopher started their career at Landrum & Brown as a Systems Analyst in 1997. In 1997, they joined Harris Miller Miller & Hanson Inc. as a West Coast Systems Manager and worked there until 2000. From 2000 to 2003, they worked as an Airport Software Specialist at Harris Miller Miller & Hanson Inc. In 2000, they briefly worked at Lochard (now Brüel & Kjær) as the West Coast Systems Manager. From 2004 to 2006, they served as a Project Manager at Rannoch Corporation (now ERA). Christopher then joined Saab Sensis Corporation as a Senior Systems Engineer for FAA Programs, where they worked from 2006 to 2014. Following that, they worked as a Sr. Systems Engineer at DTIS from 2014 to 2016. Currently, they are a Principal Engineer, working with the Implementation Team at Aireon LLC, where they have been since 2016. In this role, they are involved in the design, deployment, implementation, and testing of the world's first global air traffic surveillance service using a space-based ADS-B network.
Christopher Holverson's education history includes earning an Associate of Science degree in Computer Science from Highland Community College, where they studied from 1991 to 1994. Christopher further pursued their education at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management from 1994 to 1997.
