Bogdan Mihai Rusu is a data engineering professional with extensive experience in various roles within the technology sector. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at AirDNA since April 2023, Bogdan specializes in Scala, Spark, and AWS technologies. Prior to this position, Bogdan worked at Custimy.io as a Data Engineer focusing on batch processing ETL, and at Tradeshift where responsibilities included both data engineering and senior software engineering roles, utilizing technologies such as Apache Spark and AWS. Previous experiences also encompass roles at Endava, Softvision, RADCOM S.R.L., and Tremend Software Consulting, where Bogdan developed expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and database management. Academically, Bogdan is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Computer Software Engineering at the University of Bucharest, complementing an earlier Bachelor’s degree in computer science from the same institution.
