Cara Sindir (Dilts) has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Cara began their career in 2000 as an International Development Consultant, working on projects related to women's rights, children's rights, and migration issues. Cara worked at various non-profit organizations in Kyrgyzstan, Thailand, Uganda, Canada, and the U.S., and also served as a research fellow at the National University of Singapore.
In 2006, Cara joined Hogan Lovells as an Associate specializing in Regulatory Law. Cara worked in this role until 2011.
From 2010 to 2011, they also had a role at the Robert Bosch Stiftung as a Robert Bosch Foundation Fellow.
In 2012, Cara joined Airbus Defence and Space as a Team Leader in Global Market Forecasting. Cara held this position until 2014 when they transitioned to become the Chief of Staff for Marketing & Sales until 2015. Cara then took on the role of Chief of Staff for Communications, Intelligence and Security (CIS) Business Line from 2015 to 2019.
In 2019, Cara joined Airbus U.S. Space & Defense, Inc. as the Head of Strategy, Marketing & Communications. Cara held this role until 2021 when they were promoted to Chief Operating Officer, their current position within the company.

Next, from 2002 to 2005, Cara attended the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law where they earned a Juris Doctor degree, specializing in Law.
Following their law degree, from 2004 to 2005, they pursued a Master's degree in International Development at the University of Denver - Josef Korbel School of International Studies.
In 2021, Cara Sindir (Dilts) attended the Stagen Leadership Academy, where they completed a Foundational Leadership Course.
