Ying Xiao is a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Airbnb since February 2022, previously serving as an Engineering Manager and Software Architect at News Break, where the focus was on building an ecosystem for content creators. Prior experience includes leading the connect ranking team at Facebook and holding various engineering roles at Microsoft, including Principal Software Engineer with responsibilities in search technologies for email and OneDrive, as well as contributions to Bing Web Search.
