Marissa Aviña currently serves as Senior Counsel for CCA and LATAM Commercial, Marketing and Communications Legal at Airbnb since January 2023. Previously, Marissa held the position of Senior Legal Counsel for Mexico and Spanish Speaking Latam at Twitter from April 2019 to January 2023, and prior roles included Legal Counsel for the same regions. Marissa's experience in the legal field began at Baker McKenzie, where Marissa worked as a Foreign Associate in Intellectual Property and Technology Law, as well as in various positions from Associate Attorney to Junior Associate spanning several years. Marissa obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Competition, Innovation, and Information Law from New York University School of Law and earned a Licenciatura en Derecho from Universidad Anáhuac. Additionally, Marissa participated in language studies at EF Executive Language Institute.
