Ankur Jain is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in designing and implementing complex systems across various platforms. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Airbnb since August 2022, Ankur previously held significant roles at Flipkart from September 2014 to August 2022, including Software Architect for the Flipkart Cloud Platform, where responsibilities included developing multi-tenant messaging platforms and a range of central services. Prior experience includes working as a Software Development Engineer (SDE) at Microsoft from June 2011 to August 2014, where Ankur focused on microservices within the Azure cloud environment and contributed to Windows phone development. Initial professional experiences include freelance frontend website development and an internship in Microsoft’s Business Intelligence Division. Ankur holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, completed in 2011.
