Kim Mitchell is an experienced educator with a strong background in teaching and tutoring. Currently serving as an Online Math and ELA Tutor for both Tutored by Teachers and Air Tutors since 2023, Kim specializes in K-8 Math and K-12 ELA, creating engaging lessons and fostering positive relationships with students. Previous experience includes roles as an Assistant Preschool Teacher at Central Christian School and a Middle School English Teacher at Westminster Christian Academy, where Kim developed effective classroom management and encouraged student participation. Additionally, Kim taught fifth and sixth grade subjects, including Math and ELA, at Central Christian School from 1989 to 2005. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Missouri State University and a Master's degree in Education from Maryville University of Saint Louis.
