Collen Roller is a Senior Computer Scientist at the Air Force Research Laboratory, where the focus is on leading Generative AI initiatives for the Department of the Air Force since June 2015. Prior experience includes a role as a Computer Scientist, concentrating on enhancing Natural Language Processing capabilities for the United States Air Force through research on conversational AI, dialogue state tracking, and intent detection, as well as a Computer Science Intern position at the same organization in 2014, where Collen applied algorithms for point cloud classification on LIDAR datasets. Collen also served as a Teaching Assistant at SUNY Potsdam, supporting Java students, and holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from the State University of New York College at Potsdam.
