Nikolay Karpov is a seasoned avionics management professional with over 30 years of experience in the aviation industry. Currently serving as a Senior Avionics Management Engineer at Air Astana since March 2002, Karpov oversees a team of five engineers, specializing in technical support for various aircraft systems and non-OEM modification projects. Previous roles include Lead Avionics Engineer and Duty Engineer, where Karpov managed teams up to 15 technicians and conducted maintenance activities on multiple aircraft types. Prior experience at Air Kazakhstan involved leading avionics teams and performing maintenance on B737 and A310 aircraft. Karpov holds an Engineer's degree in Avionics Maintenance from Kiev International University of Civil Aviation, earned between 1984 and 1992.
