Simon Sigurd Henriksen is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Director at AIP Management since February 2023, where Simon leads the Technical team to identify new investment opportunities and optimize existing assets. Prior experience includes roles such as Senior Manager of Project Development at Copenhagen Offshore Partners, overseeing technical development strategies and site conditions for offshore projects, and Senior Project Manager at Siemens Gamesa. Simon has managed offshore wind projects globally during tenure at K2 Management and held various engineering roles throughout Simon’s career, beginning with a Graduate Researcher position at Det Norske Veritas. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a focus on Wind Energy from the University of Washington, alongside degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark.
