Daniel Rivera is an experienced professional in the field of chemical engineering, currently serving as the Microencapsulation Technologies Team Leader at ainia centro tecnológico since April 2007. In this role, Daniel oversees projects focused on research, development, and innovation across the chemistry, agro-food, pharmacy, and cosmetic industries, demonstrating expertise in securing funding from both private companies and public entities at various levels. Prior to this, Daniel held positions such as Laboratory Manager and Process Engineer at Minersa, where responsibilities included overseeing chemical processes and product quality. Earlier work experience includes a role as a Chemical Engineer at DERIVADOS DEL FLUOR SAU and a metallurgic research engineer at the Centro de Investigación metalúrgica, Minersa. Daniel holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea and a Master's in Food Engineering and Science from Universidad Politécnica de Valencia.
