Matthew Towey is a Hardware Design Engineer with extensive experience in the hardware development field. Currently, Matthew serves at AimValley since January 2022. Prior to this, a significant tenure at Valeo Vision Systems from September 2013 to October 2021 included roles as Hardware Team Lead and Hardware Design Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed ensuring robust hardware deliverables, organizing design reviews, and managing development tasks. Earlier experiences include an internship at Fidelity Investments focused on Splunk development, a bursary project on nano-electronic devices at Tyndall National Institute, and a role as Treasurer for the N.U.I.G. Windsurfing Club. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer & Electronic Engineering from the University of Galway (2009-2013) and a Leaving Certificate from St. Nathy's College, achieving 495 points.
