Alejandro Coy is an experienced professional in data science and engineering, currently serving as Senior Manager of Data Enablement at Alberta Investment Management Corporation since March 2021. Alejandro has a proven track record of collaborating with data scientists to automate reporting processes and enhance efficiency through advanced technologies such as NLP and Power BI. Prior to AIMCo, Alejandro worked as a Process Engineer at Rangeland Engineering, focusing on the design of salt mined caverns, and as a Technology Development Engineer at PC-CUPS Ltd, where critical data analysis contributed to a field test application. Alejandro's educational background includes a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Calgary, a Master of Data Science from The University of Texas at Austin, and ongoing professional development in machine learning.
