Richard Kaufman has worked in the legal software industry for over 25 years. Richard began their career in 1995 as a Regional Sales Manager and General Sales Representative for Thomson/West. In 1999, they moved to ChoicePoint,(Information America/DBT) as a Regional Manager. In 2001, they joined CCH as a SE. In 2003, they moved to Lexis Nexis as a Law Firm Consultant. In 2008, they joined West, a Thomson Reuters Business as a Regional Law Firm Consultant. In 2011, they moved to ActionStep as a North America Sales Manager, consulting with law firms on how to implement a full practice management solution. In 2016, they joined LEAP Legal Software USA as a Senior Product Consultant. Most recently, in 2020, they joined AILaw Inc. as Vice President of Sales.

Richard Kaufman attended the New York Institute of Technology to study Business Administration, and they also attended the Peekskill Military Academy, where they earned a Military degree.
