Semih Eren is a Machine Learning Engineer with experience in deploying energy forecasting projects, specifically in demand, wind, and solar energy prediction, at Octai from December 2021 to March 2024. Notably, Semih utilized numerical weather prediction methods, including the Weather Research Forecasting (WRF) model, to create features for these projects. Prior to this role, Semih worked as a researcher at TÃœBÄ°TAK from February 2021 to July 2021, contributing to a team led by a professor. Semih holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, completed in January 2021.
