Joshua Brekenfeld is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the insurance sector. Currently serving as Chief of Staff at AIG since September 2022, Joshua is a key member of the International Leadership Team and directly supports the operational and strategic activities of the International GI business. Prior to this role, Joshua was Director of Global Corporate Development at Aspen Insurance Group and held various management positions at Lloyd's from February 2014 to August 2019, including Oversight Manager, where responsibilities encompassed managing relationships with ten companies and ensuring compliance with various oversight plans. Joshua's foundational experience includes strategic roles within the U.S. Senate Committee on Rules and Administration. Educationally, Joshua holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from The Catholic University of America, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of North Carolina Asheville.
