Melissa Waller serves as the President of the AIF Institute within AIF Global, where leadership extends to overseeing four Centers of Excellence focused on specialized education for institutional investors. Concurrently, Melissa holds the position of Executive Program Director at the National Institute of Public Finance and serves as Director of Public and Private Partnerships at the Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise. As a board member of IperionX and an advisory board member for Sweetwater Private Equity, Melissa contributes to sustainable investment initiatives and private equity strategies. As the Founder and CEO of Arête Innovative Resources, Melissa provides strategic consulting in investment governance and corporate management. Prior experience includes Deputy Treasurer and Chief of Staff for the North Carolina Department of State Treasurer, managing significant assets and workforce, and serving as Senior Policy Advisor at Wachovia. Melissa earned a degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
