Jean-Charles Vergne is an accomplished art curator, critic, and educator, currently serving as the curator for the European itinerant exhibition dedicated to American photographer Gregory Crewdson at Gallerie d'Italia in Turin since September 2022. With a career spanning over two decades, Vergne's experience includes authorship of critical publications such as "BEAUTÉS" and significant roles such as director of the Fonds Régional d'Art Contemporain Auvergne until July 2023. Additionally, Vergne has contributed to the artistic community through various platforms, including podcasts, lectures at academic institutions, and membership in art acquisition committees. Notably, Vergne was involved as a rapporteur for the 2018 Marcel Duchamp Prize at the Centre Pompidou.
