Balakrishnan Baskaran is an experienced engineer specializing in offshore wind and power management systems. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Aibel since August 2022, Balakrishnan previously held the position of Project Lead Engineer at ABB in India from March 2011 to August 2022, where responsibilities included the design, programming, and commissioning of power management systems, as well as the engineering of communication protocols for intelligent electronic devices. Prior to this, Balakrishnan worked as an Electrical Executive at Wartsila India Ltd, focusing on the operation and maintenance of substations and thermal power plants, and as an Electrical Engineer at Suzlon Wind Energy A/S, managing wind turbine generators and high voltage substations. Balakrishnan holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anna University.
