Gigi Purcaru has extensive experience in the aerospace industry, currently serving as SMW at Agusta Aerospace Corporation since July 2021. Prior to this role, Gigi held multiple SMW positions at Sabena Aerospace between 2016 and 2021, along with brief stints as a Sheet Metal Worker at Jet Aviation and SAMCO Aircraft Maintenance in early 2019. Gigi’s career in aircraft maintenance began in 2016 with various roles at notable companies such as Magnetic MRO AS, SR Technics Group, and AEROPLEX CENTRAL OF EUROPE. Gigi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aircraft Engines from the Military Technical Academy, specializing in Aircraft, completed between 1982 and 1986.
