Jose Carlos Bernal Rivera is a legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law, finance regulation, and governance. Currently serving as a Partner at Aguilar Castillo Love in Bolivia since January 2022 and as a Founding Partner at Bernal & Franco, Jose has also been an Adjunct Professor at Universidad Privada Boliviana since late 2014, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Previous roles include Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bolivia for a brief period, Senior Associate at Guevara & Gutiérrez S.C. specializing in advising investors, and a Foreign Associate at Uría Menéndez focusing on project finance. Jose holds a Master of Laws from Harvard Law School, a diploma from Georgetown University Law Center, and additional qualifications in international arbitration and corporate law from various institutions.
