Pierre Du Buit is an experienced professional in agricultural development and partnership management, currently serving as Chargé de programme at AVSF - Agronomes et Vétérinaires Sans Frontières since December 2021. Prior to this role, Pierre contributed to FEDERATION ARTISANS DU MONDE, focusing on partnership policies and capacity building for producer organizations. Experience with Afdi - Agriculteurs français et développement international includes roles involving technical supervision, agroecology, and project writing for climate change mitigation. Pierre has also held positions in regional coordination and project management, supported agricultural cooperative assessments at Caritas, and conducted agricultural teleprospecting. Academic qualifications include a diploma in engineering in Agriculture, Agronomy, and Territory from L'Institut Agro Montpellier and a Bachelor’s in Life and Earth Sciences from Pierre and Marie Curie University.
