Matt Shoup has held a variety of roles in the agricultural and marketing industries since 2000. Matt began their career as an Agricultural Technician at Shoup Bros. Farms, where they were responsible for daily chores such as feeding, breeding, vaccinating, tattooing, and transporting hogs, as well as operating farming equipment during planting and harvest seasons.
In 2012, they interned at the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center, where they studied the growth of E. Coli O157 and Salmonella cell cultures and tested various water sources in the Wayne County area for the presence of E.
In 2013, they began working at Malone University as a Course Assistant and Admissions Worker, where they planned and facilitated the New Student Orientation, served as a role model, facilitated in-class discussion and lesson alongside of professor, met and/or contacted students throughout the semester, and attended monthly meetings with other courses assistants and the Director the College Experience for support and accountability.
In 2014, they held internships with The Aviso AVW as a Public Relations Editor, 95.9 FM The Light as a Marketing and Promotions Intern, and Pathway Caring for Children as an Advancement Volunteer.
In 2015, they began working at Certified Angus Beef LLC as a Manager, Public Relations, Manager, Culinary Brand Loyalty, Communications and Marketing Specialist, and Consumer Communications Intern. Matt was responsible for creating and implementing long-term strategic plans, positioning internal culinary experts and external partners through brand communication channels, playing an active role in larger brand PR initiatives and activations, implementing storytelling across brand communication channels, driving trade advertising from creative development to placement, and managing relationships with external agency partners. Matt was also the Brand Manager for the Caribbean market, developing and executing marketing campaigns and strategies to drive sales and brand awareness throughout the territory.
In 2019, they worked as an Assistant High School Track Coach - Hurdles at Smithville High School.
In 2021, they began working at AgriWebb as a US Marketing Manager and Customer Success Coordinator.

Matt Shoup completed their Bachelor's Degree in Communication Arts - Public Relations from Malone University in 2016. Prior to that, they attended Smithville High School from 2008 to 2012. Matt also holds certifications from Google, including Google Analytics for Beginners (obtained in September 2021) and Google Ads Display Certification (obtained in November 2021), as well as an Inbound Marketing Certification from HubSpot Academy (obtained in October 2020).
