Schalk du Plessis is a soil scientist currently working at Agri Technovation (Pty) Ltd. Prior to this, Schalk served as a demonstrator at Stellenbosch University where Schalk explained soil processes to students. Schalk also gained experience as a Seasonal Assistant Manager at Holfontein Boerdery, overseeing citrus and rooibos production units. Additionally, Schalk worked as a Laboratory Assistant at Bemlab, conducting analytical tests on soil, plants, and water.
