Chris Hibbert is a seasoned software engineer and project lead with extensive experience in developing secure software solutions and open source projects. Currently serving as a Software Engineer at Agoric since May 2019, Chris focuses on tools for secure smart contracts. As the Project Lead for Zocalo Open Source Prediction Markets, Chris has contributed significantly to an open-source prediction market package with over 13,000 downloads. A long-time Board Member of the Libertarian Futurist Society since 2001, Chris has held various leadership roles, including President and Treasurer. Previous roles include Software Engineer at Google, Principal Investigator at CommerceNet, and various positions at Agorics, Inc., Xanadu, Digital Equipment Corporation, and Xerox PARC. Chris holds a BS in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
