Dan West is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in the animation and film industry. Currently serving as the Head of Creative Production at Dan West Studios since 2019, West collaborates with leading studios and independent filmmakers, providing preproduction development services. Previous roles include Creative Art Director at Under Armour, Art Director at Walmart, and Art Director at LAIKA Studios, where West specialized in virtual production and visual development. Additional experience includes senior positions in layout and previs at notable companies such as Reel FX, Sunrise Animation Studios, and Day for Nite, contributing to major projects like "Mulan" and "Scoob!" Dan West holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Computer Animation & Visual Effects from the School of Visual Arts and is currently pursuing further studies at Harvard Extension School.
