Sting Feng

VP Of Commercial Service & Delivery Center, Chief Architect at Agora.io

Sting Feng has a wealth of experience in the software industry, spanning over two decades. Sting started their career as a Software Engineer at Advanced InfoMed, Inc in 1999 and delivered a key broker module. Sting then worked as a Software Engineer at Cyber Innovative before joining Philips (China) in 2004 as a Sr. Software Engineer, where they worked closely with the U.S. team.

In 2010, Sting became an R&D Manager at Chen Sen Controls, where they established and managed the R&D department, overseeing the planning and design of building automation systems. Sting also joined Microsoft as an SDET II during this time, collaborating with the team on test plans and automation for the SCCM product.

Moving forward, Sting held the position of Principal Software Engineer at Philips (China), where they were responsible for the architecture design and project leadership of the Stress ECG product. Sting then transitioned to Chen Sen Controls as an R&D Manager and Partner, delivering several products such as CSGW and CSPage Lite.

Sting's most recent role was at Agora.io, where they held the position of VP of Commercial Service & Delivery Center and Chief Architect. At Agora.io, they built the SDK team from scratch and successfully commercialized three generations of the SDK. Additionally, they led the team to secure seed customers and implement an API based fully automated test framework.

Throughout their career, Sting has showcased their expertise in software engineering, project management, team leadership, and product delivery.

Sting Feng received a Bachelor's degree in Automation from Tsinghua University in the years 1995 to 2000. Following that, from 2000 to 2003, they pursued a Master's degree in Signal and Information Processing from the Institute of Electronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Additionally, in May 2013, Sting Feng obtained a certification in Niagara AX TCP from Tridium.
