Shaocheng Yang has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. They started their professional career as a Chinese Teaching Assistant at Emory University in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Technical Intern at Huili Information System Company and also served as a Student Researcher at Emory University.

In 2018, Shaocheng joined AT&T as an Android Developer. During their tenure, they independently designed and implemented a new version of Automatic Data Reporting for AT&T TV and AT&T TV Now, saving the company a significant amount of money. They also added screen reader support to both mobile and FireTV platforms and implemented a speech-to-text feature for enhanced user experience.

Currently, Shaocheng is working at Agora, where they have held multiple positions. They started as a Developer Evangelist in 2020, contributing to the launch of Agora Extensions Marketplace and providing technical support to Extensions Marketplace providers. Later, they transitioned to the role of Sr. Partner Engineer, responsible for building and expanding the Agora Extensions Marketplace ecosystem in collaboration with partner companies.

As of now, Shaocheng is working as a Developer Experience Product Manager at Agora, although the exact start and end dates are not provided. Their role involves overseeing and enhancing the product experience for developers, ensuring their needs are met, and guiding the development of Agora's real-time communications developer ecosystem globally. Overall, Shaocheng has a strong background in technical roles and has made significant contributions to the companies they have worked for.

Shaocheng Yang attended Emory University from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Physics. Prior to their university education, they attended Nanjing Foreign Language School from 2008 to 2014. In December 2018, Shaocheng Yang also obtained a certification as a Certified SAFe® 4 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc.
