Todd Austin attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1986 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Todd then enrolled in the Rochester Institute of Technology from 1988 to 1991, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Engineering. To further their education, Todd pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1991 to 1996.
