Tyler Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Tyler started their career at Southside Recycling as a Recycling Coordinator in 1999. In 2000, they worked at CHESTERFIELD ALEHOUSE LTD as a Dining Room Busser until 2002. Tyler then joined Dierbergs Markets as a Maintenance Manager from 2004 to 2006. From 2006 to 2012, Tyler worked at Drury Hotels, starting as a Night Auditor and eventually becoming a System Support Analyst. Tyler continued to grow in their role at Drury Hotels, becoming a System Support Analyst III from 2016 to 2018, and eventually a System Analyst IV from 2018 to 2021. Currently, Tyler works at Agilysys, where they began as a Technical Product Manager in 2021. Tyler then progressed to become a Senior Technical Product Manager and is now serving as the Principal Product Manager.

Tyler Smith attended the International School of The Hague from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE). Tyler also completed two additional certifications: "Project Initiation: Starting a Successful Project" from Coursera in July 2021 and "Foundations of Project Management" from Coursera in June 2021.
