Neelakandan Subramanian has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Neelakandan started their career as a Technical Support Executive at CADD Centre Software Solutions in 2004. Neelakandan then joined PSI Data Systems Ltd as a Senior Software Engineer in September 2004 and worked there until April 2008. Neelakandan then joined Bally Technologies as a Senior Lead Analyst in April 2008 and remained in that role until March 2016. After that, they joined Scientific Games as an Associate Technical Manager in March 2016 and worked there until November 2018. Currently, they are employed at Agilysys, where they have held various roles including Technical Manager from November 2018 to June 2020, Senior Technical Manager from June 2020 to July 2021, and currently serves as the Director of Technology from July 2021 onwards.

Neelakandan Subramanian completed their 10th grade at Grace Matriculation Hr Sec School from 1986 to 1998. Neelakandan then attended DAV Matriculation Hr Sec School from 1998 to 2000, where they completed their 12th grade in the MPCB field of study. After that, they went on to the University of Madras from 2000 to 2004, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE). Lastly, from 2007 to 2012, Neelakandan attended the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Software Systems.
