Karen Phillippi, RN BSN MBA has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Karen currently holds the position of SVP, Market Operations at agilon health since February 2024. Prior to that, they worked as the Vice President, Risk Adjustment at agilon health from July 2021 to February 2024. Before joining agilon health, Karen worked at Anthem, Inc. as the Regional Vice President, Medicare Stars, Quality Management and Risk Adjustment Performance from December 2020 to July 2021. Karen was responsible for improving Stars performance, overseeing a team, and developing plan programs. From November 2016 to December 2020, they served as the Vice President, Health Services at MediGold, where they managed daily operations, quality programs, and compliance. Karen's previous experiences also include roles at Mount Carmel Health System, MaternOhio Clinical Associates, Inc., American Mobile Healthcare, and Riverside Methodist Hospital, where they gained experience in case management, nursing, and patient care.

Karen Phillippi earned their Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Otterbein University in the years 1995 to 2000. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration from Franklin University, which they completed in 2010.
