Ryan Schwendeman has a diverse work experience, beginning with their current role as a Mechanical Engineer at Agility Robotics since 2022. Prior to this, they were a Design Engineer at Team Penske from 2018 to 2022. From 2014 to 2018, Ryan was a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Oregon State University, where they taught Senior Capstone and Machine Shop. Additionally, they were a Chassis Lead for the Oregon State University Formula SAE Program from 2014 to 2018, where they were responsible for composite chassis and component design, analysis, manufacturing, and testing, as well as impact attenuator design.

Ryan Schwendeman attended Oregon State University from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Ryan then returned to Oregon State University from 2014 to 2017, where they earned a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Currently, they are attending Oregon State University from 2020 to 2023, where they are pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
