Jason Sprowl has had a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. After graduating in 2013, they started working at Raytheon as a Software Engineer for a year. Following this, they joined AT&T in 2014 and worked there as a Professional Big Data Software Engineer. In this role, they designed and implemented an entity and geospatial activity-based analysis platform using HBase with Avro. Jason also created Pig-based data flows and analytics to measure mobile and TV advertising effectiveness.

In 2015, Jason joined Twitter as a Senior Software Engineer, where they played a crucial role in improving the quality of search index and data licensing product by designing and implementing tooling to correct mistakes in the canonical offline tweet dataset. Jason also served as a Tech Lead for offline data compliance services, leading a team of 12 engineers in designing, building, and operating distributed services and data processing tooling for GDPR compliance.

Currently, Jason works at Agility Robotics as a Principal Software Engineer.

Jason Sprowl attended The University of Texas at Arlington from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
