James Locke has worked in the aerospace industry since 1983. James began their career as an Aerospace Engineer at LTV Aerospace, and then moved on to NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration in 1986. In 1988, they became an Associate/Assistant Professor of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Kansas. James then joined Beechcraft in 1997 as a Sr. Technical Specialist. In 2000, they were appointed Associate Professor of Aerospace Engineering at Wichita State University. For the past 14 years, they have worked as a Consultant as an Aerospace Stress Analyst. In 2022, they will become a Principal Structural Analysis Engineer at Agility Robotics.
James Locke has an education history that includes a Ph.D. in Engineering Mechanics from Old Dominion University (1986-1988), an M.S. in Civil Engineering from Oklahoma State University (1981-1983), and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Oklahoma State University (1977-1981). James also holds a certification as a Private Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration - FAA obtained in April 1980.
