Lucas is currently working as a Technology Director at AgileThought, leading geographically distributed teams and projects in the USA and LATAM. In this role, they provide guidance to technical staff and helps determine the best architectural and business approach for delivering client-oriented solutions.

Prior to their current position, Lucas worked at Salesforce as the Director of Software Engineering for Mulesoft. Lucas directed the Integration Tooling Charter team, overseeing the development of Mulesoft's flagship IDE, Anypoint Studio, and other Development Experience products on AWS. Lucas reported to the Senior VP of Engineering and was responsible for managing the team and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Lucas Lopez has a diverse educational background. Lucas began their education journey at Colegio Manuel Belgrano, where they obtained their High School Diploma in Bachiller in the years 1988 to 1992. Later, they pursued Software Engineering at Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires from 1995 to 2000. In 2003 to 2005, they studied Computer Science at Universidad Kennedy. In 2009, Lucas attended the Business & Technology Executive Program at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. Apart from their formal education, Lucas has also earned various certifications throughout their career, including the Certified ScrumMaster credential from Scrum Alliance in 2015.
