Darryl León, Ph.D., currently serves as the Director of Software Portfolio Strategy at Agilent Technologies, where responsibilities include leading software business transformations to support the digital lab strategy in Life Sciences and Applied Markets. Previously, Darryl held positions at Illumina, leading software product management for oncology, and at Thermo Fisher Scientific, focusing on product management in pharmaceutical analytics and digital technologies. With a strong background in developing and commercializing software solutions for the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors, Darryl has also worked at Syapse on cloud-based precision medicine solutions and contributed significantly to NGS data analysis software products throughout various roles. Darryl earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from UC San Diego and completed a postdoctoral study in RNA Folding at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
