José Ruiz-Domínguez has worked in a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2007. José started out as an Embedded SW/FPGA programmer at GCM, then moved to SEPSA as an Embedded Software Developer in 2011. In 2013, they worked at Mesurex Aeronautics as an Embedded SW Developer, and then at Qualcomm (formerly CSR) as a Senior Engineer, Digital Design. In 2017, they were an Engineer within the Architecture Group at Arm, followed by a role as FPGA Engineer at Kaleao Ltd in 2018. In 2021, they were a Digital Design Contractor at onsemi, and in 2022 they were a Design Support Engineer at Huawei Technologies Research & Development (UK) Ltd and a Digital Design Engineer at Agile Analog. Throughout their career, they have worked with System Verilog, Python scripting, UVM, C++, GEM5, and C.

José Ruiz-Domínguez obtained their degree in Ingeniería Técnica de Telecomunicación from the Universidad de Málaga between 2002 and 2005, specializing in Sistemas Electrónicos. José also obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in January of 2022.
