Mariam Tai has held various roles throughout their work experience. Mariam started their career as a Production Manager at Durell Manufacturing from 1996 to 2000, where they were responsible for managing daily production and personnel. Mariam then worked as a Property Manager at ARMS INVESTMENTS LTD from 2000 to 2003. At Reaults Realty Services, they served as a Sales/Property Management professional from 2003 to 2007, managing residential and commercial properties and overseeing tenant relations. From 2007 to 2014, they worked as the Director of Call Center Operations at Corpsavershealthcare, managing a staff of 20 agents and handling various administrative tasks. In 2012, they became the President of the Wellness Association of America, where they created and implemented the organization's vision and strategic plan. Since 2015, they have been working as the Director of Operations at Agency Matrix.

Mariam Tai obtained their Bachelor of Commerce degree from Karachi University, where they studied from 1990 to 1992. Mariam then pursued their Bachelor of Business Administration degree at Oglethorpe University, studying from 1992 to 1994. In addition to their formal education, Mariam obtained several certifications. In 2003, they obtained a Loan Originator certification from the Cap Stone Institute of Mortgage. In 2004, they obtained a Real State Agent certification from the GA Department of Commissioner, and in 2007, they obtained a Health, Life, and Sickness Agent certification from the GA Department of Commissioner.
