Andrew Watt has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Andrew is currently working as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Again since May 2023. Prior to that, they held the same position at Automata from September 2022. Andrew was also a Principle Hardware Engineer at Northrop Grumman from July 2022 to September 2022. Andrew worked as a Senior Electrical & Safety Systems Design Engineer at Kigtek from November 2019 to August 2022 and as a Compliance Engineer at Diageo from August 2019 to November 2019. Before that, they served as an Electrical and Control Systems Engineer at Kigtek Solutions Limited from September 2013 to August 2019. Additionally, Andrew has previous experience in customer service roles, including as a Bar Person at Airdrie Golf Club from January 2011 to September 2013 and as a Sales Assistant at Simon Mclean Professional Golf Shop from October 2009 to January 2011.

Andrew Watt attended Airdrie Academy from 2004 to 2009. Andrew then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics at the University of Strathclyde, studying from 2009 to 2013. After completing their undergraduate studies, Andrew went on to Glasgow Kelvin College, where they obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering, specializing in the field of study from 2017 to 2019. Prior to their HND, they also completed a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Electrical Engineering at Glasgow Kelvin College, studying from 2015 to 2017.

In terms of additional certifications, Andrew obtained the "Functional Safety for Process Industry, Process Automation IEC61511 / IEC61508" certification from TÃœV SÃœD in June 2019. Andrew later acquired the "Certified Machinery Safety Expert (CMSE)" certification from TUV Nord in October 2020. Andrew also completed the "Competent persons module 14" certification from CompEx in October 2019 and the "Designer module 12" certification from CompEx in February 2022.
