Patrick Rutikanga is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in child development and social work. Currently serving as a TBRI consultant at Agahozo Shalom Youth Village since November 2022, Patrick focuses on creating a trauma-informed environment. As the Executive Director and Afterschool Director at Gisimba Memorial Center since December 2012, Patrick has dedicated efforts to supporting vulnerable children in one of Rwanda's oldest orphanages. Additionally, between June 2018 and June 2021, Patrick worked as a Graduate Assistant at the Institute of Child Development at Texas Christian University, gaining insights into working with children from challenging backgrounds. Academically, Patrick holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and Administration from Mount Kenya University and a Certificate from the Intensive English Program at Texas Christian University.
