Charles Gumba is an accomplished educator with extensive experience in physics and mathematics, currently serving as Head of Residences for Tsavo House Block 5 at AGA KHAN ACADEMY MOMBASA since September 2019. Gumba has held the position of MYP Year Level Leader since August 2013 and has been an IB Physics Teacher and Senior Physics Teacher since August 2012. Responsibilities include supervising Extended Essays in Physics and World Studies, as well as serving as an IB Physics Examiner. Gumba holds multiple degrees from Kenyatta University, including a Master’s degree in Electronics with a focus on Thin Film Characterization and a Bachelor of Education in Physics and Mathematics.
