Matt Thomas has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Matt started their career at SULLIVAN SUPPLY SOUTH, INC. in 1998 as a Show Manager, Dealer Relations, and Sales Rep. Matt worked in this role until 2004. Following this, they joined The First National Bank of Central Texas as a Banking Center President, managing and growing loan portfolios and overseeing day-to-day operations of the branch. Matt held this position for ten years until 2014. Currently, they serve as the VP Lending and Branch Manager at AgTexas Farm Credit, where they have been since 2014.

Matt Thomas completed their Associate of Science (AS) degree in Agriculture from Hill College from 1998 to 2000. Matt then pursued further studies at Tarleton State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Agribusiness from 2000 to 2002. Following this, Matt completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration & Agribusiness from Tarleton State University between 2002 and 2003.
