James Russmann is an experienced agronomy professional with a robust career in the agricultural industry. Currently serving as Agronomy Regional Business Leader at AgState since July 2022, James previously held the position of Senior Crop Protection Territory Manager at GROWMARK, Inc. from October 2016 to July 2022. Earlier in the career, James was Director of Equipment Sharing at FarmLink, where responsibility included managing a new concept for equipment sharing among Ag Retailers. Additional roles include Director of Procurement/Operations at West Central Cooperative and Agronomy Manager at Farm Service Company. James began the career as a Crop Management Specialist at Farmland Industries Inc. with a foundational education in Agronomy and Crop Science from Iowa State University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree between 1988 and 1991.
