Simon Ducharme is currently a Researcher at the Douglas Research Centre. Prior to that, they were the Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer at AFX Medical from 2018. From 2014 to 2020, they were a Neuropsychiatrist at the Centre universitaire de santé McGill et IR-CUSM and a Faculty at the McConnell Brain Imaging Centre at The Montreal Neurological Institute.
Simon Ducharme completed a High School degree at Collège Saint-Sacrement. Simon then attended Université de Montréal and obtained a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in 2007. Following that, they pursued a Psychiatry Residency Program at McGill University from 2007 to 2012. Finally, they completed a Fellowship in Behavioral Neurology & Neuropsychiatry at Harvard Medical School from 2012 to 2014.
