Gabriel Guedes serves as the COO and CFO of Lyka, a company dedicated to providing human-grade meals for dogs in Australia, since October 2017. Additionally, Gabriel is an advisor, co-founder, angel investor, and advisory board member for various early-stage startups and not-for-profits. As a Fellow at AfterWork Ventures since April 2021 and a Venture Partner at Metagrove Ventures from October 2021, Gabriel focuses on investing in pre-seed and seed startups across multiple regions. Previously, Gabriel worked as an Associate Partner at Bain & Company, specializing in large-scale transformations for clients in the industrial sector. Early career experiences include market research at Politecnico di Milano, logistics planning for Procter & Gamble, and psychological research at Escola Politécnica da USP. Gabriel holds an M.Sc. in Management, Economics, and Production Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and a B.Sc. in Production Engineering from Escola Politécnica da USP.
