Wayne Dunbar has extensive experience in the insurance industry, beginning in 1984 as Manager of New Business for Life Insurance Rx Corporation & Rx Administrators LTD. Wayne then worked as a Junior Underwriter for Connecticut National Life Insurance Company from 1987 to 1988, and as a Life Underwriter for American Express from 1988 to 1991. In 1991, they took on the role of Project Manager for Aegon Life Insurance Company Limited. From 1994 to 2008, they were the Second Vice President, Marketing, Special Markets for Protective Life. Wayne then moved on to Allianz Life, where they served as Vice President, Marketing from 2008 to 2015. Most recently, they have been Chief Executive Officer of aftertec, Inc. since 2015.

Wayne Dunbar's education history includes graduating from Novato High School in 1980 with a Diploma, and currently attending the University of California, Davis for Chemistry and Math. Wayne has also obtained various certifications, such as a Remote Pilot License (Drone/UAV Pilot) from the Federal Aviation Administration in 2017, Search Engine News from Advanced Local Search in 2015, Allianz Distribution Group Leadership University from ADG Leadership Certificate in 2013, Integrity Selling Facilitator from Integrity Solutions, Inc in 2010, Associate, Academy of Life Underwriting (AALU) from Academy of Life Underwriting in 2006, Associate, Insurance Agency Administration (AIAA) from Life Office Management Association in 2005, Associate, Insurance Regulatory Compliance (AIRC) from Life Office Management Association in 2003, and Associate, Customer Service (ACS) from Life Office Management Association in 1997.
