Jackie Mapiloko is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in the mining and media sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Communications for De Beers South Africa, Jackie has held various roles within De Beers Group since July 2017, including Corporate Communications Manager and Senior Communications Manager. In addition, Jackie has been a Corporate Communications Professional at AfriSam since April 2014, and previously worked as Communications Manager at Wits Business School and as an Investigative Reporter at both Mail & Guardian and City Press. Jackie Mapiloko holds a degree in Journalism from the University of Johannesburg and completed secondary education at Metlife Raucall High School.
