Anja Barnard Smit is currently serving as the Assistant Company Secretary at Afrimat since February 2022, after completing a tenure as a Financial Intern. Previous experience includes positions as a Candidate Attorney at KG Kemp Attorneys and Kemp & Associates, alongside an academic mentorship role at Stellenbosch University. Anja's educational background comprises a BCom Law and a Postgraduate Degree in Law from Stellenbosch University, as well as a Certificate in Project Management from the University of Cape Town. Anja is currently pursuing further education with the Chartered Governance Institute South Africa, expected to conclude in December 2023.
