Milka Omuya has expertise in project coordination and is a great champion of improving maternal, newborn, and child health outcomes in her work. She supports the projects Promoting sustainable health investments in low-resource settings and Kinship, Marriage, and Child health outcomes in low-resource settings within the Maternal and Child Wellbeing Unit. She has previously supported PAMANECH and CHV-Decision support system.
Milka joined APHRC as a field interviewer in 2010. She has worked as a team leader, coordinator, and research assistant before being promoted to her current role. She previously worked as a community health volunteer in Korogocho and a research assistant at Uwezo Kenya, Lea Toto, and Concern Worldwide. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Psychology.
